Talking Violet (est. 2018) melds the best elements of shoegaze, grunge, and dream-pop creating a bold emotional “dreamo” statement in their sophomore record "Everything At Once". Consisting of Jillian Goyeau (vocals, guitar), Jayden Turnbull (guitar, vocals), Jeremie Brousseau (drums) and Dylan Iannicello (bass), the Windsor, ON outfit pushes boundaries pressing intimate, tangible lyrics against a luscious wall of driving textures.
Produced and mixed by engineer Justin Meli (Universal Canada) and mastered by the iconic Heba Kadry (Slowdive, Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Haley Williams etc.) the band’s lively sophomore album “Everything At Once” packs a memorable punch. Title track “Everything At Once” and single “It’s Gonna Be Good” continue to chart on SiriusXM, averaging 400 plays on “The Verge” each month since May 2024 - “It’s Gonna Be Good” notably hitting #2 on the station’s chart in September. Editorial playlists such as “New In Alternative” (Spotify), “New In Rock” (Apple Music) and “Fresh Finds Canada” (Spotify) have also featured the album’s tracks throughout its release. With international PR support via LaMisson (France, UK), national marketing support via Flying Colours (Toronto) and radio campaigning via CIRCA/Frontside (US), Talking Violet has cast a wide net in the alternative world via “Everything At Once”.
